Bridgepoint – Website Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Pricing & Offers

All prices displayed on the Bridgepoint website include VAT and are accurate at the time of publication. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. We recommend refreshing your browser to ensure you are viewing the most up-to-date pricing and product availability.

Promotional offers and discount vouchers are valid only on non-discounted items and cannot be redeemed during sale periods. Vouchers are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

2. Security & Payments

Bridgepoint prioritizes your online security. All credit card transactions are processed via secure bank servers using GoDaddy Class 2 Certification for encrypted data transmission. No card data is stored or accessible by Bridgepoint staff.

We do not store credit card details nor share customer payment information with third parties.

3. Delivery & Collection

Delivery options at checkout include:

- In-store pickup (Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 19:00)

- Orders under €75: €5 delivery fee (Malta), €10 (Gozo)

- Orders over €75: Free delivery (Malta & Gozo)

Deliveries occur Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 16:00. A driver will contact you to schedule delivery. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Upon delivery, customers are encouraged to visually inspect items for damage and completeness. Any damage, faults, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery via email or phone, quoting the CASHSALE/INVOICE number.

Do not install damaged goods. Installed damaged goods cannot be refunded or replaced. All returns must be in original packaging.

Bridgepoint is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer. If delivery is missed, additional charges may apply.

4. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch by contacting us via email, phone, or in person at our showroom. Please provide your order number when requesting cancellation.

Deposits paid on custom-made items, special orders, non-stock products, or items ordered specifically at the customer’s request are strictly non-refundable. Such orders cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded once confirmed, as these products are manufactured or procured exclusively for the customer and cannot be returned to our suppliers.

For standard stock items, deposits will be refunded via bank transfer, provided the order has not been active for more than nine (9) months. Orders that remain uncollected, inactive, or on hold for more than nine (9) months from the original order date will be cancelled and deposits forfeited.

5. Returns

Products may be returned within one (1) year of purchase provided they are unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, complete with all components and proof of purchase. Refunds will be issued via bank transfer.

Returns are strictly not accepted for custom-made items, special finishes, made-to-order products, non-stock items, or any goods ordered specifically at the customer’s request. These products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded under any circumstances, as they are procured or manufactured exclusively for the customer and cannot be returned to our suppliers.

Bridgepoint reserves the right to refuse returns for any product showing signs of installation, use, damage, or missing components.

6. Warranty

Warranty applies to defects from faulty materials or workmanship for products sold after 1 November 2021

 

Faucets:

- 5 years mechanical warranty

- 5 years on Polished Chrome & Brushed Nickel finishes

- 2 years on Matt Black, Gun Metal, Rose Gold & Satin Gold finishes

- 2 years on electronic/electrical components

 

Flushings:

- BPF1: 8 years on steel structure and tank, 2 years on internal parts

- BPF4: 2 years on tank and mechanism.

 

Sinks:

- BPS18: 2 years against rust spots or stains

- BPS15: 5 years against rust spots or stains

- BPS22: 2 years against chipping, cracking, or breaking

Note: All sinks may scratch with use. Scratches, scrapes, and surface dulling are not covered.

 

RO Units & Water Softeners:

- 2-year warranty on parts or full unit replacement. No compensation for water damage due to leaks.

 

Water Dispensers & Refrigerated Equipment:

- 2-year warranty on parts or full unit replacement. Adequate ventilation is required.

 

Dustbins:

- 2-year warranty on mechanisms and structural integrity. Dents, scratches, batteries, and power supplies excluded.

7. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

- Accidental damage, mistreatment, limescale, or improper cleaning

- Installation or use not in accordance with intended purpose

- Unauthorized repairs or use of non-original parts

- Wear and tear items (filters, seals, hoses, batteries, etc.)

- Alterations without prior written approval

- Products installed outdoors or exposed to weather

- Products sold or transferred to third parties

8. Warranty Claims

Submit claims in writing with proof of purchase and photos to Bridgepoint. Claims without documentation will be rejected.

If approved, Bridgepoint may repair or replace the product. If unavailable, a similar product or refund will be offered. Replaced items become Bridgepoint property. Replacement items are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

9. Care Instructions

To ensure the longevity and proper performance of your Bridgepoint products, customers are required to follow the care and maintenance guidelines provided for each specific product on our website. These instructions vary by material, finish, and product type, and form an essential part of the correct use of the item.

General cleaning advice may include the use of mild soap, water, and a soft cloth; however, the definitive care requirements for each product are those listed on its individual product page. Failure to follow the product-specific care instructions may void the warranty.

10. On-Site Repairs

Out-of-warranty site visits are charged at €35 (incl. VAT) for the first hour. Additional hours: €20/hour. Charges exclude parts.

No charge applies for valid warranty repairs. Charges apply if issues are due to:

- Incorrect installation or plumbing

- Blocked pipes or construction residue

- Limescale buildup

- Misuse or improper maintenance

- Excessive water pressure

11. Privacy Policy

We collect and store customer data lawfully and securely. Data is used for order processing, internal accounting, and service improvement. We do not share personal or payment data with third parties without consent.

To request data deletion, contact info@bridgepointmalta.com.mt with your name, email, and request. Identity verification may be required. Some data may be retained as required by law.

12. Cookies

We use cookies to enhance your website experience. Cookies are safe and do not store personal data. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect website functionality.

Types of cookies used: strictly necessary, performance, and functionality cookies.

13. General Terms

Product images are for illustration purposes. Actual items may vary slightly. All products are subject to availability. Prices include VAT at 18%. Bridgepoint products are based on British standard water systems.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Disputes shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts.

Notices must be in writing and sent to the address provided at order confirmation or any updated address provided by either party.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
